St Helens YHA Hostel provides comfortable accommodation on Tasmania’s east coast at St Helens. The hostel is centrally located, offers beautiful views and a welcoming and warm atmosphere.The hostel offers a range of room configurations. There are two single dorms, one with eight single beds and the other with six. There are two double rooms which can be used as a family room. A bunk with single bed on top and double below and a fold-out bed provide space for four guests. There are unpowered tent sites as well. A shared kitchen and dining/lounge area includes internet connection. There are also laundry facilities. Small boats, kayaks and mountain bikes are available for hire from the hostel.St Helens has a consistent mild to warm climate. Originally a base for whaling, it is now a premier fishing port. Hire a boat and try your hand at catching fresh fish for dinner. Wander along the white sandy beaches and experience the turquoise water of the Bay of Fires.
