Anja Chastenet interior design & decoration is a Melbourne based practice that proposes interior design and decoration services for residential projects. According to your needs, I can manage or provide you support with the full scope of the services mentioned below in an integrated way or individually.
- Furnishing advice and/or research
- Colour scheme recommendation
- Material advice and/or research
- Project development, planning and coordination
My approach is comprised of the following steps:
- Pre-project and planning: This stage is our first meeting where we discuss and define what you want.
- Budget estimation: I make a first estimation of the cost of the project so that we have a common understanding of your budget and align ourselves, and therefore the whole project, to your expectations.
- Project design and concept: During this stage I will be making 2D plans and 3D renderings to give you a clear idea of what the project will look like in your space once it is completed. These plans and 3D renderings will all have to be validated by you.
- Authorisation requests: This stage will only take place if any demolition or construction will be taking place during the course of the project.
- Tender process management: Depending on what you want to do to your space, I will ask for the necessary tenders. For this step, I will be sourcing, identifying and selecting the appropriate traders.
- Detailed execution plan and financial management: I will be in charge of managing the good execution of the project by coordinating the interventions of the different traders. I will also keep a detailed tracking of the budget and what is being spent and will be sending you these details on a fortnight basis so that you know exactly where we stand.
