Sound It Out Speech Pathology specialise in assessing and providing therapy support for children and adolescents (ages 2-18) experiencing the following difficulties:
-Speech sound errors (tat for cat, bish for fish)
-Receptive and expressive language disorders (delays in comprehension, following instructions, auditory memory, vocabulary, grammar and constructing sentences)
-Autism Spectrum Disorders
-Stuttering
-Poor literacy skills
-Difficulties with social skills (starting/maintaining conversations, eye contact, feelings etc.)
We provide 1:1 and group therapy. We also run social skill groups for children and adolescents who present with poor social skills.
Sound It Out also aims to work with significant individuals such as parents, General Practitioners, Paediatricians, school, kindergartens, childcare and other professionals working with the child in order to provide the best care.
