The Northern Territory Library is located in Parliament House, in the State Square complex Darwin. The Library is the Northern Territory's major reference and research Library, responsible for collecting, preserving and providing access to the Territory's documentary heritage and connecting people to the world of information.
The Library provides a relaxed environment to peruse our collections which are available in both print and electronic formats. The collections offer access to world literature and Northern Territory documentary heritage, as well as international publications and newspapers, and online full-text databases and the internet.
Throughout the year the NTL provides a wide range of exciting and informative displays and events highlighting the collections and heritage of the Northern Territory. These events provide a unique insight into the premier collection of Northern Territory literature in the world.
