FunFu is a martial arts class designed specifically for children. A FunFu class includes Kung Fu, real life self defence skills, fitness, meditation and lots of FUN.
We are different from other kids martial arts classes because:
Our classes are age specific (developed by a Yoga Teacher / Teacher Aide and a 30 yr Martial Arts Veteran / Personal Trainer) and emphasise non violent techniques for use in defence. FunFu is for 4-10 year olds (we have an older class called Defenders for 10+ and parents)
Much of our class is fitness and games based, introducing martial arts and physical fitness to kids in a fun way, teaching kids to associate martial arts and fitness with fun.
We are priced for families - $50 Uniform $15 per class (paid pro rata per school term), no expensive insurances or long contracts - we get it, we are parents too!
We take the classes to the kids, we are a mobile Dojo, we teach at schools and community centres
Our grading system is based around self confidence and encouragement for the kids, they are rewarded for all their achievements every week. (plus gradings are only $20).
FunFu classes are currently available at Musgrave Hill State School, Runaway Bay Indoor Sports Stadium, Helensvale Community Centre and Upper Coomera Centre.
