KRAV MAGA / SELF DEFENCE - Personal Training and Group Fitness Classes.
The training covers escape from most of the common chokes, holds, grabs and bear hugs, attacks from batons, baseball bats, clubs, knife, hold ups, knife threats and close quarter gun threats.
As part of the Mix Martial Arts training, the areas that will be worked on will include
A) flexibility and stretching
B) boxing/kickboxing cardio workout with focus mitts, thai pads and kick shields.
C) strength and body conditioning work outs.
D) speed, reflex and forearm conditioning drills.
E) blocking, trapping, locking, escaping, submission grappling and ground fighting.
The gym is equipped with a commercial crossfit rig, bench press, olympic bars, free weights, kettle bells, freestanding dummys, swing bags, thai pads, strike shields, protective gear, rubber mats and mirrors.
The self defence and combative principle of Krav Maga is made up of the many combined arts from Combat Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Hapkido, Kali, Muay Thai, Tae Kwon Do and Wing Chun.
Even training starts at 6pm and finishes at 7.30pm the Academy doors open at 5pm and closes at 8pm.
