Established in 1999, Studio Steel has grown into a successful business situated in a purpose built factory in the heart of Cooroy on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Studio Steel specialises in the manufacturing of structural steel for residential, commercial, marine and transport applications. We also offer abrasive and/or sand blasting & hot metal spraying in our custom built spray booth and also provide a mobile service. Our cranes (7 tonne slew crane and 3 tonne mini crawler crane) will travel to your site on the northern Sunshine & Cooloola Coasts.
Studio Steel has an 18m long x 5.2m wide x 5m high, sound-proof abrasive blasting and painting booth, with its purpose designed filtration system which will handle all abrasive blasting requirements. Our E.P.A approved facility uses steel shot, granite and black beauty abrasives.
We also have temporary fencing available for hire.
We offer concrete scanning. Our MiniScan HR 3D can locate the position and depth of rebar, conduits, post-tension cables and voids in concrete. The high resolution provides a detailed image of subsurface structure.
