The township of Ngukurr is located on the Roper River in South East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. It is situated 650 kms south east of Darwin via Katherine which is the closest regional centre some 310 kms away via the Stuart and Roper Highways.
The Darlala Motel is an economic development project of the Yugul Mangi Development Aboriginal Corporation under the direction of the leaders of the seven clans of Ngukurr. It forms part of the Yugul Mangi people�s aspirations to move away from government and welfare dependency. As guests you will be supporting the Yugul Mangi people�s aspirations.
As an Indigenous community run accommodation motel we ask all visitors to respect our country, place, motel rooms, culture and people.
