Undergoing any medical treatment can be a traumatic time for patients and their families. At Isla House our aim is to provide a caring, friendly home away from home environment during this time. Isla House has a well deserved reputation for its warm and homely atmosphere.
Centrally located in Juliette Street, Greenslopes, and right near the Stones Corner shopping centre, travel to and from your hospital is easy via your own car, our weekday courtesy bus or by public transport. There are a number of bus stops close by.
For patients who have difficulty walking, our courtesy bus could be the ideal answer as it drops you to and from the front door of the hospital.
Guests at Isla House have their own bedroom with television, and each two bedrooms share a large en-suite bathroom. There are two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Rooms are either single, double or twin. Most rooms have a patio or balcony. Rooms are serviced daily.
The modern two storey building was built in 1990. Seven bedrooms are on the ground floor with wheelchair access while nine are on the first floor. Each floor has a fully self contained community kitchen as well as a dining room and lounge area. Two laundries are on both floors.
