We are a multi award winning tourism venue which is operated by the Hervey Bay Historical Society. We are a Non-Profit, Self funded operation deciated to collecting and preserving items of local history.
We have 21 buildings and over 12,000 items displayed, all spread over 3 acres. The Village is an ideal family place to visit, particularly on Sunday afternoons when we have demonstrations of Blacksmithing, Woodturning, Corn Shelling and Rope Making.
Get involved and turn the handles, shell corn, treadle the lathe or make your own souvenir rope for free.
Bring your own sausages etc and use our Free electric BBQ's. Hot water available to make your own tea or coffee. Cold drinks for sale at Reception.
