Charlotte Ashcroft has been inspiring students for years, giving both children and adults an enriched music education.
Charlotte Ashcroft is an accomplished classically trained multi-instrumentalist in Brisbane, whose experience in playing,performing, and teaching spans over 14 years.
Beginning her musical studies at the age of five, Charlotte quickly found a love for the violin, which has taken her to devote her time to studying the classical violin at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music under the skilful mentorship of Queensland Symphony Orchestra Associate Concert Master, Mr. Alan Smith. Wanting a more rounded musical education, Charlotte later began studying and has become efficient on the viola, piano, and guitar, as well as music theory.
Outside of the Conservatorium, Charlotte has played for weddings, corporate functions, and private events in various ensembles and as a soloist. With a keen interest in orchestral playing, Charlotte has performed with various orchestras in Brisbane including Queensland Philharmonia Orchestra and Lord Brisbaneâ??s Imperial Orchestra. She also teachers studio violin, viola, piano, guitar, and music theory lessons, specialising in mature aged students.
Upon completion of her Bachelor of Music, Charlotte wishes to complete a Masters of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne.
