Mus, fully qualified, internationally accredited woodwind technician, N.A.P.B.I.R.T. member, 30+ years of experience in the music industry) manager and technician will talk to you about the work to be done, so there is complete clarity as she is the technician who will carry out the work for you. Having been a professional musician for 10+ years, she understands how frustrating an instrument can be when it's not operating at its optimum response. She loves custom set ups for the discerning performer as well as maintaining a students instrument for general playing stability or exams. All repairs are important to her and great service, support and advice is supplied to all.
From time to time Furness Repair Studio has second hand woodwind and brass instruments for sale. This is a great option as all the instruments are set up by Andrea and carry a warranty and her support. Most instruments are half the price of retail, so this could be a way to provide a good solid instrument for a student just beginning music, or an affordable upgrade to a more advanced instrument.
