Your Soothe trainer works with you in a positive, encouraging way. We want you to enjoy getting healthier, stronger, more flexible or whatever it is you're keen to improve.
After your full Biomechanical Assessment in session 1, from session 2 onwards your Soothe sessions are completely customised to your needs and wants. You can choose any of the following to focus on in your sessions:
Injury Management / Rehabilitation
Focused on strengthening underactive muscles and releasing/lengthening overactive muscles, which in turn can help reduce or eliminate pain, or reduce the risk of future injuries. This includes to manage back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and knee pain, among other things. We often use equipment (which is provided) such as resistance tubing, Posture Pro, foam rollers and Quad Ball rollers.
Pilates
Radically reshapes and sculpts your body. Pilates is generally focused on strengthening the core (particularly the transverse abdominus and pelvic floor), back muscles and the glutes (butt). Many Pilates exercises can be tailored to suit those with lower back pain, neck pain and knee pain.
Yoga
A true mind body experience. Feel calm and centered while lengthening and strengthening the appropriate muscles (which we discover in your biomechanical assessment and from your goals). A uniquely customised yoga session that is tailored to your needs.
A Combination
Combine 2 or 3 of the aspects above. This is highly recommended in order to get the benefits of different ways of training.
