Established in 198 by resident owners Christine and Jim Tester who have been involved in the canine world for more than 40 years, both here and internationally. Dogs have long been a passion for all of us here at the kennels and we always strive to improve the quality and care of our service and undergo constant training to improve ourselves. We believe that pets make our lives happy and complete.
About Us:
Established in 1989, Penfield Boarding Kennels and Cattery is located 25 minutes north of Adelaide in the township of Virginia. The resident owners are Christine and Jim Tester who have over 40 years' experience between them. Christine and staff regularly attend seminars and training in the animal industry to maintain and improve their knowledge. We are members of the PIAA, SACA, VCA, The German Shepherd Dog Club of SA, and the VNCA. We are proud supporters of the Port Adelaide Obedience club.
Qualified Veterinary Nurse:
Christine is a qualified vet nurse with extensive experience in veterinary emergency centres and animal shelters both in Australia and internationally, and regularly attends seminars to maintain and improve her knowledge.
Diets:
Our guests are offered as close as possible to their current diet to make their stay more comfortable. We have in our selection premium dry foods, chicken and vegetable or beef and vegetable loaves, quality tinned food, gourmet rolls or raw meats. Multiple daily feedings are also available at no extra cost.
