I am a portrait photographer and I specialise in newborn and baby photography. As well, I also photography pregnancy and family portraiture.
Utilising either natural light or the lighting in my studio, let me create beautiful memories for you of your pregnancy and newborn baby. Time flies so quickly, that, before you know it, your baby is one year old and you're asking yourself 'where did the time go'? Creating images of you in your pregnancy creates a legacy that you can hand down to future generations - these images let your children see who their mother was while pregnant. Likewise, images of your children as babies and older, create records for generations to come of what their ancestors looked like.
Having three grown up children of my own, I understand the importance of recording timeless portraits of your family which can be handed down from generation to generation. Remember seeing your Grandmother lovingly look through an album of photographs of her husband and her children and how each page she turned brought back a different memory. Making memories and seeing precious photographs of your children and your family on the wall of your home is what making a home is all about.
Whilst I have been photographing my own family for many years, first on film then digital, I am now furthering my career by undertaking a Bachelor of Photography at the Queensland College of Art in Brisbane. Education and Professional Development are very important to me and I feel that, as a professional photographer, it is of great benefit to me and to you as my client to continually update my skills as often as possible by attending workshops and seminars and national photographic events.
I am a student member of the AIPP and through this association, I enter state and national award competitions as well as networking with other professional photographers.
