Laser Skirmish retains all the skill and fun elements of paintball skirmish however it replaces potentially dangerous paintball weaponry with high-technology laser taggers and sensors . Families will have the opportunity to engage in competitions that require fitness, team work, strategy and skill to achieve operational objectives whilst in rivalry with their peers. The families will love the action and challenge of this activity. Zone where kids and adults will advance, manoeuvre, hide, dodge, gather, strategise, and hopefully defeat the opposing team in an energetic contest of skill and wits. The fire power comes in the form of laser taggers and sensors - handheld apparatus designed to send out and/or register an incoming infrared beam of light, accurate to a range of 200m+ (even in bright sunshine). Although possessing top of the range features (scopes, stocks, lens and sensors) this hardware has intentionally been designed to minimise the weapon appearance of the laser tagger without detracting from its functionality. The Operation Laser Skirmish has a designated area within the indoor centre with tyres, boxes, sandbags as barricades and boundry area taped off. Kids and Adults will assemble near the competition zone where the operator will brief them regarding; rules, OH&S considerations and the correct operation of the Laser Taggers. Kids and Adults will then be fitted with sensors, receive their activated taggers and be sent to their nominated area in the competition zone where the contest will commence. The operator will act as Referee to start, observe and control the skirmish. There are various competition scenarios.
