- Warts are not necessarily painful and are often mistaken for corns. But, rather than being caused by pressure, they are a virus similar to the cold sore virus.
- Thickened nails can cause pain by increasing the pressure underneath the nail or by ingrowing. They can be caused by trauma, circulation or a nail infection and are easily managed.
- Ingrown toenails are sore and need to be attended to sooner rather than later. They are caused by nails that are too wide, too thick, cut incorrectly, trauma or pressure. Sometimes, surgery is used as a last resort for ingrowing toenails. The technique is simple and very effective.
- Diabetes causes feet the most complications of any part of the body as a result of the disease. Feeling and circulation should be tested annually to treat and identify any complications. We enjoy a multidisciplinary team approach to your care and will send a report of the findings to your Doctor, Endocrinologist, Eye Specialist, Dietitian and anyone else in your Diabetes Team.

- Orthotics are inserts that go in your shoes. They are supports used to correct the way you are walking that may be causing joint or muscle pains such as heel pain, bunions, shin splints, back pain, stress fractures, shin splints, to name a few. They are only part of the treatment process and may be teamed with stretching, exercises, medication, footwear charges, referral to other professionals or surgery
