Hi, My name is Marizel, photographer behind Mikenzel Photography. I specialised in Newborn photography, maternity and family portraits photography. I worked as a Registered nurse in an Adult and Pediatric Intensive Care when I am not shooting. I love taking pictures of bumps and babies! Love to be a part of that journey were I can record that special moment and capture those smiles, yawn & memories for my clients. Being a nurse and looking after many cute babies, Has attracted me to Newborn portraiture.
Aside from newborn photography, I also do family portraiture, maternity or pregnancy photography and events. i have my home studio in Port Stephens - Tanilba Bay but I service the surrounding areas as well like Newcastle and Maitland. I have clients come from different parts of the Hunter region, from Cessnock to Central coast travelling all the way to Port Stephens so I can photographed their newborn. This warms my heart and motivates me to keep continuing in this genre and also to perfect my craft.
I have continuously update myself in terms of continuing education through workshops both online and in-person and I am pleased to say that I am also an AIPP ( Australian Institute of Professional Photographer) accredited photographer.
