Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy builds on from counselling by additionally addressing how the presenting issue may be linked to a past event or future fear. A variety of tools can be used to assist the client to gain self awareness & understanding of these links and to revisit any thoughts and decisions that may have been made at the time and are now outdated and preventing them from developing to their full potential.
Psychotherapy takes in to consideration the whole person, and as a result also deals with the persons thoughts, feelings and actions through this process.
Psychotherapy is generally longer in duration as it requires deeper investigation into a persons experiences and life.
