Three mates Rob, Os and Chris have put their heads together with designers Luchetti Krelle (of Momofuku Seiobo, Chimmichurri, Hinky Dinks and Sake fame), and have created a warm and friendly space that complements Balmains rustic heritage. The Cottage will be a wine and food lovers haunt.
The boys love for wine has produced a comprehensive yet approachable wine list with some quirky twists, and theyll make you feel right at home while you sip on grapes from the Australian regions you know and love or, if youre feeling a little exotic, they can recommend some top drops from around the globe.
But what about the food? Their philosophy is: keep it fresh and keep it simple. Head Chef, Oscar Vargas (of Kingsleys Steak & Crabhouse, La Cita and Cadmus) says we want you to share your taste experiences, so weve designed a menu of delicious share plates and pizzas, cooked in our really big wood fire pizza oven seriously, its huge!?
