The name is quite misleading as you won't find afternoon tea here, however, what does await at this rural Victorian gem is robust Sicilian cuisine full of flavour and expertly prepared by chef-owner Pietro Porcu. Choose from an a la carte or set degustation menu with dishes including pork ragu. osso bucco and the seafood platter - loaded with mussels, crab, and baby octopus in a spicy rich tomato broth. A semifreddo complemented by biscotti and coffee is a fine way to finish. A bit of a drive out of town but worth a visit.
Not a scone or Earl Grey tea bag in sight. Here, the tea room has morphed into a sassy Sicilian eaterie where decadent rabbit dishes are more likely to be on the menu.
