Christie has achieved a great deal in her own right as a singer/songwriter and was named Most Impressive New Talent on Country Music Radio for 2012, with her debut singles reaching number 1 and number 3 on Country Music Radio Australia. She was voted Most Promising Future Star at the Australian Country Music People's Choice Awards in Tamworth 2013 and was also the lead female vocalist, guitarist and pianist in the Jon English Rock Revolution Show performing in 55 shows across Australia.
Formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Music on a full scholarship from the University of Western Sydney. Christie has completed AMEB Vocal Exams as well as seven AMEB Musicianship and Piano Exams. Previously she has taught at Studio 11 Penrith, Non Stop Dance Company Preston and Studio 7 Appin plus private tuition.
Vocal lessons for technique, theory & competition are available for all ages, levels and styles, with a focus on having fun to develop a love of music.
