We are a teaching partnership consisting of Anthea Trevelyan (piano & theory) and Mark Trevelyan (guitar & theory). We both enjoy music in many forms: Anthea also composes and improvises; Mark belongs to a choir, Cantamus. We consider our students to be part of our circle of musical friends, and hold regular informal musical evenings at home, to encourage relaxed and sociable playing and performing opportunities. Piano lessons are also available from our trained students, Claire & An.
More formal Recitals are also held for our students several times a year, and exam preparation is another popular option for our students.
We are both actively involved in playing music, and our ensemble, Capriccioso, where we join with our friend and associate, flautist Caroline Weatherstone, can provide sophisticated classically-based repertoire spiced with some jazz and popular numbers, for your wedding or social function. Anthea also enjoys providing solo piano music. We are also experienced accompanists, Anthea on piano and Mark on guitar, and can work with singers and instrumentalists on their exam or performance program. Call or email us with enquiries.
