Locally Soled is family-owned and is managed by Adrian who fulfils the role of cobbler and designer. He started nurturing his passion for making footwear when he was still a small child back in the town of Ragland, New Zealand. He learned from his father and, when he grew up, he enriched his passion and learned to design and handcraft orthotic footwear. He gained this knowledge at Waikato Hospital, New Zealand.
