AKLA Ski Club was established in 1956, it has 25 members and makes available accommodation to members friends and guests. AKLA is situated only two hundred metres easy walking distance from Helicopter flat at the bottom of Bourke Street. The lodge has a family atmosphere and each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and toilet. There are 5 rooms which is made up of two rooms with a double and two bunks, one room with a double bed and one single bed, and two rooms with four bunks. AKLA sleeps 20 persons.
