Footscray City Film School is an independent tertiary institution providing courses which vary from one to three years and are based on National Industry Training Packages in Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media.
Students are provided with hands on tuition in short film production on up to 20 films per year, on Black Magic, Canon 5D Mk111 DSLR Production Rigs, Sony EX3, and High Definition Digital Equipment taking them from the concept to the marketing of their films.
At Footscray City Films we teach you how to become independent film makers as well as helping you to build your career in the film and television industry in an intimate environment which is tailored to individual needs. Class sizes are kept small to ensure personal tuition.
There are Industry links and attachments. Students are taught by Industry professionals in all aspects of film
making. The film school is also highly regarded for giving students direct access to employment in the Film and Television Industry. Our many award winning Graduates are a testimony to our success.
