Established in 1983 Highline Tattooing is one of Melbourne's oldest operating tattoo studios. In its 30 years of operation Highline has gained a reputation for consistently producing quality work and friendly service, which has been recognized nationally and worldwide.
Owner and operator Simon Wilson is an award winning tattoo artist with over 20 years experience in the tattoo industry. While comfortable with most styles of tattooing Simon particularly enjoys and excels at Japanese and traditional tribal styles such as French Polynesian, Samoan, Maori and Haida Indian. His attention to detail is evident in every piece of art he creates for his clients.
In August-September 2012 Simon was one of three artists invited to participate in the Tatau exhibition, focused on the tattoo culture of the pacific nations held at Federation Square. He is the first person to ever tattoo at the National Gallery of Victoria at the live exhibition.
Simon is a member of The Professional Tattooing Association of Australia, National Tattoo Association of America and the Southern Cross Tattoo Club.

While Highline Tattooing is fully Health department accredited and licensed. It has always operated above the standard Health Department regulations by using single use needles and tubes for every client with all instruments removed from their sterilized packets in front of the client.
