The Hills Multisport Academy formally known as Annangrove Racquet Centre (ARC) was established in 1976 as a Tennis and Squash resort built on five acres in the leafy Hills District area north west of Sydney. The Academy offers its members and general public a multi-purpose sports and recreation complex with tennis and squash courts as well as other facilities which include a swimming pool, sauna, pro shop, BBQs and parking for 100 cars.
In 1988 as a result of Australia Bicentenary, the centre became the Head Quarters for multisport programs such as FIT KID AUSTRALIA & SHAPE UP AUSTRALIA which were designed to improve fitness in Australia for all age groups of children and adults. It did this by offering additional sports such as table tennis, badminton, racquetball, basketball, volleyball and more recently introduced to Australia soccer tennis.
During the past twenty five years, the Academy has introduced professional and innovative coaching techniques in tennis (tennis Czech style), squash (topspin serve and backspin drop shot), basketball (three point advantage) and table tennis (simplify timing, develop new strokes combinations, strokes selections and strategy, teaching to analyse opponents weaknesses) which has resulted in its players learning much faster while reducing the training time required to climb to the top of their sport.
The Academy has been family owned and managed by husband and wife team Radko and Stella Zaloudek since 1988. Radko is a highly qualified international table tennis coach and has also been a national and state representative table tennis player.
About the academy:
The AUSTRALIAN TABLE TENNIS ACADEMY has produced top table tennis players in all ages from juniors to seniors and veterans in a much shorter time than any other institution in the same field.
