The Campbelltown Arts Centre, a state-of-the-art facility, is the flagship cultural venue for the Greater Sydney region and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The Centre hosts an annual program of contemporary arts workshops encompassing music, film, theatre, dance, literature, food and new media. The Centre also hosts a broad spectrum of events, concerts, stage shows, festivals and performances.
Adjacent to the centre is Koshigaya-tei a Japanese Teahouse and garden, a Bicentennial gift to the people of Campbelltown by sister city Koshigaya. The Teahouse Garden is perfect for picnic lunches, weddings or tranquil contemplation.
Behind the centre is the Sculpture Garden, a federation project initiated by Campbelltown City Council and the Commonwealth Government's Federation Fund. The garden presents a series of changing exhibitions including the annual Sculpture by the Sea.
