This is a beautiful theatre, an iconic venue in Lismore, Nth NSW, dating back to 1921, seating 390 patrons very comfortably on fixed tiered seating. We have recently done a refurb, putting in new carpet throughout the bar and auditorium, a stunning red/gold design, and have also restored all the beautiful old timber flooring. The new launch of this Theatre has created quite a buzz in Lismore and residents are very keen to support the come-back of this much loved Venue. The Venue, whilst having quite a large capacity, still keeps an intimate atmosphere. Rare nowadays is the sense of theatre and excitement which one notices as soon as one enters the grand auditorium. Many fine musicians and performers appreciate the wonderful acoustics.
We have a fully licenced bar in the venue, which is quite separate to the auditorium. We are also decorating this bar in the European salon style for use as a wine bar. We have a lighting rig, sound equipment, and a great team of technicians both for sound and lighting available.
We have baby grand on the stage.
