The Parkes Visitor Information Centre is located within the newly established Henry Parkes Centre on the Newell Highway on the norther approach to Parkes. The Henry Parkes Centre is a first class tourism precinct incoporating four unique musuems including:
-The King's Castle Elvis Exhibit
-Parkes Motor Museum
-Henry Parkes Museum (traditional history)
-Antique Machinery Collection
The Visitor Information Centre is open 7 days per week and caters for all your tourism needs with a diverse range of tourism brochures, maps and souvenirs.
Stop and take a break during your trip and grab a cold drink or an ice-cream or even have your photo taken with a life-sized Elvis to commemorate your trip.
The Henry Parkes Centre offers ample parking for long vehicles, modern amenities including disabled facilities and baby change table, grassy picnic area and a 24 hour visitor information touch screen.
Visitors can now also enjoy free Wi-Fi access from the Visitor Information Centre allowing you freedom in downlaoding apps, researching tourism information, using email, social media, booking tours and acccommodation or just 'surfing' the net.
