The yoga I teach is contemporary Hatha yoga. All classes include yoga postures (asana), breathing exercises (pranayama), mudraâ??s, meditation, and deep relaxation. Asana postures improves muscle flexibility and strength. By practicing asana you generate physical and mental well-being. Pranayama is the practice of breath control that unifies right and left brain hemisphere activities, strengthens the nervous system and improves mental and physical energy. Mudra is a hand gesture that promotes the flow of universal energy through your body and mind. Meditation is a way of coming into loving relationship with our own self. Relaxation is allowing the body and mind to relax and rest deeply.
