VET FEE-HELP is an Australian Government student loan program. The purpose of the program is
to make higher-level studies (Such as Diploma and Advanced Diploma Courses) accessible to more
people by removing the burden of up front tuition fees.
Students take up a loan from the Australian Government and will only start paying it back when they
are earning over $49,096 of taxable income per year. The loan is then paid back gradually through
the tax system.
