Ten Thousand Paces is a hybrid gallery, shop, arts project and regional wine hub in the busy regional town of Bowral in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
We sell art, design and cool craft alongside hundreds of wines from over 50x local vineyards.
The name, Ten Thousand Paces, relates to the distance that most of our artists live and work; building creative communities and sustainable careers in the arts.
We aim to build and nurture regional identity. To that end we are also a hub / bottle shop for local wine makers with hundreds of wines from over 60x nearby vineyards. Our high altitude and cool climate means we have a distinctive wine style very different to other areas like the Hunter.
We have a busy schedule of events, with exhibitions opening on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, and wine tastings every Thursday from 4-6pm.
As a cool climate area over 600 metres altitude the wines here are distinct and unique. Ranging from dry Rieslings with a minerally European approach in Exeter through to sophisticated Shiraz from single wine vineyards in Canyonleigh and everything in between.
Every Thursday afternoon from 4pm - 6pm, we run a wine tasting and education session. They would love to see you there. For more information, jump on their facebook page, subscribe to their newsletter or just pop in!
We are champions of regional identity and look to promote ?the local? in an increasingly globalised world.
We stock all the local vineyards including.
