Peter Seppelt is the 5th generation Seppelt to continue the winemaking tradition. For 33 years Peter has been working and developing the property and its 120 hectares here at Grand Cru Estate. From 2006 Peter and wife Roz purchased the property from the family to take it to its grandeur seen today.
Paddocks have been turned into magnificant open gardens and parklands with the lake being the perfect place to say I do. The sound of the water trickling over the bronze birdbath welcomes relaxation and a memorable visit. Grand Cru Esate is the 'hidden gem' of the Barossa and Eden Valley offering the garden of Eden for all to enjoy over a wood oven pizza, fine wine, and atmosphere hard to leave behind.
All wine grapes are grown here in our vineyard at Grand Cru Estate. We are passionate about growing our fruit the Biological Way. Even the roaming Guinea Fowl have a part to play.
One must not forget to mention the our unforgettable four legged friends! Malt, Maddie & Maisie the Golden Retrievers, and Bella the very busy Border Collie. The dogs are very well behaved and enjoy sharing the outside lawns with you. We are very family friendly and welcome children under supervision.
Our biggest news entering into 2015 is the opening of our beautiful Circa 1889 Homestead accommodation, fully restored and featuring its own unique experience, one cannot help but feel quite at home.
We look forward to your company to share the best kept secret in the Eden Valley - Peter Seppelt Wines, Grand Cru Estate.
