Hi! My name is Kim-Maree Summers, and I am a Registered Marriage Celebrant.
My business, A Summers Celebration, was established here on the Gold Coast in 2004.
There are so many Celebrants available now that it's hard to know who to choose; and making the right choice will make all the difference on your special day. I am an experienced, professional, full-time celebrant and I absolutely love what I do.
I became a celebrant because I have always loved celebrations, especially Weddings, and being a part of such a special day in a couple's life is like a dream come true for me. Even after 13 years, and many weddings, I still look forward to each ceremony with the same anticipation as I did for my first ceremony.
I feel that the reason for this is my genuine love for life, love and family. Seeing the happiness and love shared on these occasions is one of the true joys in life, and I feel very privileged when I'm invited to take part in a ceremony. I understand that each couple are unique; which is why I offer different options for the type of ceremony you would like, and these are all very reasonably priced.
With my experience as a celebrant, I can help you with any request you have, and can handle any unforeseen situation that may arise; while still making sure that I am up to date with all the latest trends within the industry.
I see my role as a celebrant as one of being; assistant, guide, sounding board, and wealth of knowledge. However, I try to remain in the background on the special day, as I firmly believe that the ceremony is all about the couple, and their friends and family. As a professional celebrant, I feel I am all things to all people when I am needed, and invisible when I am not.
