Yoga practiced on a regular basis supports awareness of habitual movement patterns in the physical body & thought patterns of the mind.
Awareness itself supports conscious change towards greater ease of movement and clarity of thought.
Freeing the body and mind of restrictions restores connection with the natural flow of energy, from which awareness and presence arise.
Earth Sky Yoga general classes are suitable for any individual wanting to stretch and strengthen the physical body, whilst utilising yogic breathing and meditation techniques to calm and focus the mind.
All classes are 1 hour. Prior booking is required as spaces are limited.
Private classes are available by appointment, and may be appropriate for individuals who would like to learn at their own pace, for specific health concerns or personal goals, or simply to share quality time with significant friends or family members.
Yoga Therapy sessions are available for individuals with specific health concerns including lower back pain, scoliosis, anxiety, stress, hypertension, trauma, grief and depression.
I am an experienced yoga teacher, registered as a Senior Level 3 Member with Yoga Australia. I taught yoga in group settings in a corporate settings such as Macquarie Bank & Microsoft for many years before opening Earth Sky Yoga Studio in Vaucluse in 2005.
