The Collingwood Children's Farm is the only place in the city where children can get a close experience with real farm animals.
Cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, geese, peacocks, ducks, chickens, cats, guinea pigs, bees and earthworms - quite a selection.
You can help milk the cows at 10am and 4pm everyday.

A rural retreat in the heart of inner Melbourne, the Collingwood Children�¢??s Farm is set on 6.5 hectares of land just 4kms from the CBD. Open daily from 9am-5pm, city kids can get a taste of farm life through activities such as cow milking and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the resident horses, cows, ducks, pigs and chickens. The Farmer�¢??s Market, held on the second Saturday of each month, is also worth a visit to stock up on fresh local produce.
