I approached this business for tutoring After the intial consultation, I was told that my child had the intelligence to pass this exam. Therefore I employed one of their tutors, for my child once a week at their store for this highly competitive entrance exam. I specifically told the tutor that this is why my child is placed in tutoring. I employed the same tutor over 3 terms. I began to worry at the thrid term, when my son was given a sample test and did not do well. I approached the tutor and asked if I should increase his tutoring. She said yes. Which we did, however I was assuming she was following my instructions to tutor my son to pass this highly competitive exam. When I realised she wasnt, it was too late for my son and hence he failed. I do not recommend this tutoring service to pass any highly competitve exam. Perhaps they are well more suited for assistance in school work and that is it. The staff are pleasent enough, but pleasentries do not assist in passing exams.
This store is great for school books, and their prices are a little bit lower than most. Although there isn't much room for discounts with educational books, Five Senses seem to have slightly lower prices for their wide range, especially if you hand them a booklist. A great place to get books for the kids come school time. Plus, their customer service is excellent.
