Avoid like the plague this guy Hussain was unprofessional and dishonest. Turned up to inform that the circuit tripped and there was a problem..which is why we called. $205 straight up. Then had to gall want to diagnose the entire house for $800 when only one circuit was the issue. Didn't want to admit he wanted just charge non technical person extra work that didn't need to be done.
arrived within an hour . quoted $900 to reconnect a couple of wires . Upon questioning was quick to reduce the price to $700 , which in my opinion was still a bit steep considering it wax only about 45 mins of work . very expensive plus they sent two guys out to do a one man job
I found Alex from ABLE to be honest, reasonable priced and a reliable level 2 electrician, he worked on my house till late and he came back the next day with the power pole to complete the job he did all work in a Professional, polite friendly work manner and he cleaned up after. Came within an hour of calling in an emergency. However, they only said $150 call out fee beforehand, then charge another $250 for half hour of inspection, totalling $440 (inc. GST). That's expensive.
They then gave a quote to fix at $3750 + GST which I promptly said no. They later reduced it a bit to $3500. The next day I call a different and decent electrician to fix it at $900.
These guys are not real helpers. They take others' emergency situations as their opportunities to cut throats. I'm glad to endure 12 hours of having no power to save myself from these guys.
