I really can't say all that much about this little bar hidden in the bowels of the Adelaide Central Market, except that for some really strange reason I actually arrange to meet a young lady here for a date. I guess at the time I really wasn't thinking (or simply wanted to go to a bar that I had not been to before, not that this is the type of place that I would suggest anybody take a young lady on a date). In a sense there there really isn't all that much that stands out about this place, other than that it is a pub where people generally stop by for a drink while they are out shopping. I did come here for lunch with my mum once, and I would have to say that there wasn't anything all that great about the food either. It probably is okay for a drink, but that is probably about it.
This is a pub. Hiding in the middle of the Central Market. It doesn't really fit the feel of the rest of the market, smells like beer, is noisy and full of pokies and is dark and dingy. It's probably been there forever but it's not a nice place to sit in. They do offer reasonably priced meals but there's better places to eat.
