My partner bought our 2008 commodore from Adams 2 years ago, after 6 months of owning the car the ECU went and the electric window on the driver side stopped working.
Had done 250,000ks.
Considering he paid $7000 for the car the condition of the car wasn’t the greatest, all seats were ripped, door handle plastic ripped, missing plastic on the centre console car wasn’t even clean my in inspecting the car and the clean was rushed before he purchased it.
I wish I was there to have pursuaded him to look elsewhere!
I understand now why there was no warranty with the car, will not be purchasing from Adams again
Thought I'd buy from a dealer to ensure I bought a good product- big mistake.
Wonderfully pleasant until paperwork was all completed and car was out of the lot. Car had a few issues that they promised would be looked after but weeks later won't return calls and explain are now my problem. Don't trust these people, their after-sales service is non-existent. They'll say whatever it takes to get you to sign but won't follow through with promises.
Don't think you're buying from a trustworthy source here- I'd have more confidence buying from a private seller.
Treated very nicely up until the day we picked up the car. On closer inspection of the vehicle discovered the sales person had lied to us about the vehicle and then later denied even having the conversation with us.
We had a couple of paperwork issues to finalise that required them to call us back. I rang a total of eight times over eight days leaving messages. Not once did they call us back. Even after complaining that no one were returning our phone calls did anyone call back.
There is nothing wrong with the vehicle we purchased from them but their after sales service deserves a big fat zero. I hope we don't have any warranty problems with our vehicle as we don't wish to deal with them again. We will need to replace our other vehicle within the next two years; I will never buy a car or deal with Adams motors again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
