Alberton Hotel
The Alberton exudes a great friendliness across the several bars and at the nook where you order your meals from the blackboard menus. The choices start with a classic set of modern pub meals and also those with the aisan influence, you will not find a whole lot of "gourmets" here at the Alberton but there is plenty of dining pleasure to be had in a happy hotel dining atmosphere.

This is one of those pubs that I am surprised I have not visited a lot sooner since I support the football team that is connected to this pub (Port Adelaide Magpies). However, when I did visit there was not all that much Port Adelaide (or even Port Power) memorabilia here (though the Port Club is just around the corner). I did quite like this hotel though (despite the renovations) and there is a pretty cool beer garden out the back (which is getting an extension). As well as the front bar (which does have some Port Adelaide guernseys on the wall) the pub also has a restaurant and the ubiquitous pokies room. However, what would be interesting is to visit this pub when there is a Port Adelaide game being televised.
