Soaring in Song! Singing School in Sydney!Amelia Farrugia is regarded as one of Australia's finest sopranos. Amelia performed as a Principal Guest Artist with Opera Australia for 20 years, including the title roles of Massenet's Manon & Lehar's Merry Widow. Amelia was a Principal Artist for Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Spoleto Festival Italy, Opera Hong Kong and covered at The Metropolitan Opera in New York. This year, Amelia will produce & star in DIVA! Angel Place Recital Hall, Sydney.
Sydney Sings Pty Ltd was established in 2016. Amelia is now teaching singing students of all ages; offering training in vocal development, stagecraft, preparation for performance/competition/audition and interpretation of repertoire.
She has a studio in Mosman NSW and is also on the faculty of The University of Sydney, teaching at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music High School. ...read more
