Stoped in today after morning of fishing I would have to say it has been the worst feed we have had since being on the island first point over priced!
Second point we wanted a small pizza but when ordering we got told only large was avavibale so we went with It..
We then joked that its problely a store frozen pizza that being the reason we could only get a large. when it arrived it was over cooked and to us looked and tasted like a frozen store pizza with a little extra stuff put on top we ordered a pizza with a bbq base and ours clearly came out on a tomato base just another reason we are led to believe it was a frozen pizza. And garlic bread was well over cooked with what tasted like off cheese on top
We dined at the Amity Point Community Club one evening whilst on North Stradbroke Island ,in order to spend an evening with locals and really immerse ourselves in the local feel. This was a small club that came highly recommended. As it was my youngest daughter's treat, we allowed her to do the ordering so her favourite - chicken schnitzel, was ordered all 'round. This was served promptly and with a sideserve of chips and fresh salad bar selection. My daughter reports the schnitzel to be the best ever tasted, outside of home-cooked. We were all suitably impressed. We took dessert away with us for supper in our resort and it was equally delicious.
