Great local medical service with prompt, friendly service and a great doctor. Highly recommended.

I have been to this service on two occasions over the past three years, and on both occasions it was a completely dissatisfying experience. Out of desperation to find a doctor nearby who could see me as soon as possible I called this service to make an appointment, but hesitated when I considered my previous experience, and I remembered the receptionist being rather rude. This time however, there was a lovely lady on the reception desk when I arrived.

I felt that of the two doctors I saw, both appeared quite aloof, and it felt as though I was being rather a nuisance to them. This is the first review I have ever made online, which speaks volumes about my experience with this service, and how disappointed I feel. I felt I was not taken seriously about my concerns and I've had to go to another service to have my concerns adequately addressed.

Rudest medical reception staff I have ever come across.. Enough to put you off ever going there !!!

Dr Chalmers is my regular GP and he is the best one I've found. Takes the time to explain things to me, follows up with a phone call if required. Has Sunday appointments which helps when you work full time. I have warmed to the receptionists over the years. I have been friendly despite their mood and I won them over in the end.

I have seen the doctors at this practice, they were quite good but doesn't seem to be there often.They were both quite rushed and didn't have time to explain things properly. The reception staff can be really rude, which was the main reason I left this practice, plus I couldn't cope with having to wait three days for an appointment to get our children treated.
