this deli/foodstore and cafe in the main street of barwon heads has great local produce. the shelves are stacked full of wholesome, good quality food to purchase for home. prices very reasonable. the "irrewarra sourdough" granola is a superb museli and the "grampians pure sheeps" milk coconut yoghurt (also available in lemon) is the scummiest yoghurt i have ever eaten (great to add to curries, with fruit or just eat on its own). the breads looked great too. the cafe has a yummy breakfast and lunch menu (prices are a little expensive for the serving size). we tried the marinated olives, white bean dip and toasted flatbread sandwich (caramalised onions, olives, potato) which were all very nice. a few tables are available on street and indoors but during peak times it can be difficult to get a seat. cakes/slices also available and their coffees were great. will definately heads back if we are holidaying this way.
