Opened in 2009, the centre has been designed to accommodate the growing number of families across surrounding suburbs such as Mango Hill, Dakabin, Deception Bay and Kallangur, who were looking for effective learn to swim programs for their children.
The centre makes lesson time a breeze with off plenty of street parking, comfortable, enclosed facilities and a heated 25m pool. too many classes are being held at the same time - the noise level is terrible.
High turnover in staff. Currently consisting predominantely of very youg girls most of which are undergoing training.
The majority of my sons lesson was used to train the new instructor.
I am payin $23.00 per lesson for my child to learn how to swim - not for you to train your staff !
Not happy, getting over this lot. No consistency with teachers and assurances given don't last. This is a very expensive exercise and kids make no progress with constant teacher changing. Would even say they are going backwards.
My son developed a huge fear of the water after taking him to a different swim school. After speaking to a few friends I was recommended to Aquatic Achievers. The first few lessons were hard to watch because he was getting upset and I could tell he was way out of his comfort zone. I can't believe how well the instructor worked with him, building trust and showing him swimming wasn't scary. Patience has paid off - he is now kicking and paddling all by himself and loves the water !! The staff are extremely supportive and go out of their way to do everything to make swimming enjoyable for the children !
Being a first time dad, taking my 8 month old daughter swimming for the first time was extremely nerve wracking. I had no idea what to expect. The instructor was Awesome!! She explained the activities thoroughly and what the children were aiming to achieve from each of them as well. It was good for my baby to interact with other babies in the class around her age! Looking forward to next week!
