Points for having a rubber plug. As for the rest of the hotel... I thought the room was great, big comfy king size bed, loads of storage and block-out blinds that actually cover the window. All staff were, without fail, very pleasant, and the buffet breakfast, while not the best I've ever had, was very good value at $15 if you pre-order. We were in the new part of the hotel in an 'executive king' so I can't speak for the rest of the place but I liked where we were.
We never ate in the restaurant because truthfully, it seemed too expensive, but they have a pretty good takeaway menu which you can combine with a bottle of local wine from the nearby bottle shop and take back to your room.
My only real gripe is the lack of 'bar' areas apart from the typical public bar at the rear.. The main area seems to be entirely dedicated to the restaurant, and while you can just drink there, you feel a little pressured to order a meal, even though its a pub.
