I recently used Dave and Tina to move household furniture from Canberra to Brisbane. I'd never heard of them before contacting them for a quotation so was a little nervious to say the least. I must say my concerns were misplaced. Dave arrived in Canberra at the appointed time and the load out was smooth and well organised. The furnmiture was well packed and arrived in excellent condition at my home in Brisbane two days later. Dave turned up on Saturday so I did not need to take time off work which was also great. Even having to dismantle some of the items to get them through a tight doorway did not phase Dave and his collegues, everything was in my high set home in no time. I was not aware of a small credit charge surcharge beforehand but that was the only extra. Straighforward timely cost effective service, recommended.

This is not a fake review. We got a quote of around $500 for a move less than 3 k's down the road.Charged us $850 for the job. Very slow removalists ,told us that we would not have to pay for their travel time from depot and back ,but did charge us anyway ,wanted to charge us for an extra half hour because they got lost ,after we suggested for them to follow us,but they knew how to get to the new place so they said. They did not have to pack a single item, I went even to the trouble removing handles of all draws,and gladwrap cabinets ,just to make it easy for the gentlemen.I can continue but don't want to.I was told by many people that the quote was very high,but I thought I could trust this company. Yes it's a few weeks ago but it bothers me still every day.Hope other people don't have to endure what we had to . Regards, Anton Roozen.

Your move was quoted on an hourly rate not a fixed price. Accepting an hourly rate, you were only charged for the time it took to conduct your move based on the access and what we were moving under your direction.
Due to moving from a highrise to highrise, your move took longer than it would from house to house. Our staff are careful and efficient, ensuring your furniture is being looked after at all times. We can not control how long it takes when waiting to use an elevator or any hindrance with access.
We reduced your hourly rate for you in good faith and stand behind our motto of Careful, Honest and Reliable.
